Ok, so I was supposed to have these up last week, but I’m quickly learning everything takes a lot longer than it used to when you have a baby in the mix! It’s been an amazing 2 weeks. I was prepared for the labor….no big deal, that was easy(Thanks to our amazing nurses and doctors at NLMC, aka Lincoln General). I wasn’t prepared for coming home. Truthfully, I don’t think there is any possible way to prepare yourself for the first week. I’m not an emotional person at all, but when we got home, I cried for 3 days strait. Not really sure why. It’s so cliche, but when you have a baby, you all of the sudden experience a love that you’ve never felt before. It’s a love that is so intense it hurts! It actually scared me how much I loved her……wow, what an amazing 2 weeks. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
So here is Posey’s world debut in photos! I haven’t been in the photography mindset, so most of the ones I’ve taken have been pretty simple, just snapshots of her when she’s awake. I want to thank Melissa, my associate for being in the delivery room and photographing that for me. Don’t worry, these are all pretty pg, but if a freshly born baby grosses you out, you might not want to look. My friend Kevin B took a few of these when he visited us in the hospital, and also, one of my best buds Brandi snapped a few of me and Posey when she visited this weekend.
Here they are….and please remember that to me she is the most beautiful baby in the world. If you think differently, don’t tell me, just tell me you agree

As yucky as it is, I was so excited to see this pictures afterwards. I didn’t get to see any of this while it was happening

Check out her sweet dimple on her nose. It’s actually the first thing I noticed when they handed her to me when she was born.
